Education of the future, digitalized today

The Romanian-American University set out to take an essential step towards digitalization by modernizing the audio-video infrastructure of its most important educational spaces – the Senate Hall and the Aula. The goal was to create a modern academic environment, capable of meeting new pedagogical requirements and preparing students for the digital professions of the future.

The need: visibility, interactivity, and online access

The university leadership wanted to improve the experience for professors, students, and guests from academia and the business world. The challenges were clear: better visual display during presentations, a modern discussion and voting system, centralized control, and the ability to broadcast events live to a broader audience.

The solution: full design and integration powered by GBC®

The project was implemented directly by GBC® through a complex process of design, integration with existing systems, and expansion of the AV infrastructure.

Senate Hall

• Replacement of projectors with next-generation models for superior display quality.
• Addition of an extra projection system with an electric screen.
• Upgrade to the Televic discussion system, integrated with Extron control solutions.
• Live streaming functionality on social platforms via the AREC LS-200 media station.

Aula

• Modernization of the two existing projectors and their integration into a unified system.
• Installation of two large displays, strategically positioned on either side of the stage.
• Centralized control through Extron for simple and efficient operation.
• Live streaming capabilities via the AREC LS-300 media station.
