Video wall solution for traffic monitoring
Through its partner Altimate, GBC® handled the design, engineering and implementation of the video wall system, thus meeting the needs of Turda Town Hall to monitor traffic through a state-of-the-art technology ensuring the visualization on the video wall of the traffic surveillance cameras mounted in the town.
The Mitsubishi video wall integrated by GBC® for Turda Town Hall is part of the 120 series of video wall displays, fitted with LED light source and DLP projection system, which facilitate advanced visual communication. The basic concept of the 120 series, Electric's Smart 7 technologies, provides innovative control and command display solutions.
The video wall is equipped with 3 built-in sensors (one for each of the primary colors red, green and blue), which use a color calibration algorithm. The sensors are constantly monitoring each cube of the video wall, share information with adjacent cubes and automatically adjust the performance to render colors as close to natural as possible, on the entire display surface.

Datapath Quant streaming software provides improved response time, allowing operators to quickly pass information, in critical situations, to the decision makers. The software also provides access to sources from the video wall from any location and the possibility to share apps, while also enabling operators to change them, thus supporting the collaborative work.
The video wall solution designed and implemented by GBC® through the Altimate partner allows now Turda Town Hall to monitor traffic, using state-of-the-art technology, by facilitating access and the viewing on the video wall of the surveillance cameras in town.
